MAY 23rd, 2008 - Pop reviews.
Andrew Curnock's work on the Wii-Ware launched title, Pop, has been generating a positive response from the press:
"The music is perhaps one of the aspects of the game that sticks out in my mind. The music that plays in the pause menu is bound to get people on the floor and dancing. The varying music that plays throughout the waves and bonus levels is interesting and keeps me hooked. The sound studio must receive a commendation on their choice of song...Pause Menu music is perhaps the hottest track in the title. The sound team must be applauded for their efforts throughout each wave. Wii remote speaker is used amazingly well." - Live-Wii.net
"You may find the music catching your attention as well. Done by Game Audio Australia...this game certainly serves as an example of the diverse compositions the company can produce, considering the music is very relaxing. The sound design is strong as well...While creating chains enables the player to hear more layers of the music (very cool)..." - WiiWare-World.com

IGN review El Tigre!
IGN have a nice review of El Tigre: The Adventures of Manny Rivera which features a soundtrack written by Mick Gordon.
"Another thing to note is that the music is fantastic stuff. It occupies a little more of the aural spectrum than an electric guitar, basic crunchy electronica loops and a wailing trumpet. The mélange swings from driving action bits to more melodic guitar solos and even a rockin' version of the Mexican Hat Dance, and every bit of it is great stuff. Given that it's the focus, it actually ends up lending more to the game's cartoony flavor." - IGN.com
